A Futon Bunk Bed is the ultimate in space saving bedroom furniture designs. Perfect for the kids’ room, this bunkbed set features a twin bunk on top and a futon underneath. Designed and engineered with safety in mind, these bunk beds have heavy gauge 3″ diameter metal tubing, full-length guardrails, and a sturdy welded metal slat system for mattress support. Ladders are integrated on each side of bed. Uses a standard twin size mattress and full size futon mattress (not included). Made for a twin size mattress that is 74-75″ long and 37.5-38.5″ wide on the upper bunk. Bunk bed is tested and certified by an independent testing laboratory to meet all minimum requirements of ASTM F1427-04 and U.S. CFR Title 16 Part 1513.
