This Bunk Bed is made of solid hardwood and is available in Cherry, Medium Oak, Dark Chocolate, and Natural finishes. This bed is made of Rubberwood which is a plantation grown hardwood made from a Rubber Tree. Rubberwood is a member of the maple family which means you are getting high quality hardwood. This bed features metal to metal bolt connections and hardwood slats for mattress support (no bunkie board needed). This bed can be split into two twin beds. The ladder can only be used on the right side as shown in the picture. This bed comes with a limited 10 year manfuacturer’s warranty. Uses standard twin size mattresses (sold separately). The under bed trundle adds an extra twin bed to your bunk bed unit without increasing its floor profile. During the day it rolls underneath for storage and can then be later rolled out at night with the mattress already on it! Of course it is made of the same high quality hard wood used by the Newport line of bunk beds and is finished to match the bed.
